Description
Compared to standard two-winding transformers, split-winding transformers offer the following advantages:
- They provide a significant effect in limiting short-circuit currents.
- When a short-circuit fault occurs in one branch of the split winding, the busbar voltage in the other branch experiences only a minimal drop, thereby allowing for the continuation of normal operation.
- They improve conditions for motor self-starting. Since the through-impedance of a split-winding transformer is lower than that of a two-winding transformer of equivalent capacity, the voltage drop across the transformer is reduced during the flow of starting currents, thereby allowing for a larger permissible starting capacity.

What shipping methods do you offer?
We support multiple transportation modes including Sea Freight, Land Freight, Air Freight, and Express Delivery. For bulk orders, sea freight is typically recommended for cost efficiency; for samples or urgent orders, air freight or express delivery can be arranged.
